How this table is built

• Cell asking rent × 12 over the same cell's asking sale price, before costs, voids and finance (cells with fewer than 5 dated listings are not built).
• Each place's 12-month figure is the monthly medians weighted by their sample; a place with fewer than 30 lets over the year is not ranked.
• Measured: a sample of at least three times the floor; indicative: at least the floor.
• Ties share a rank and order by sample.
• Series-backed rows share a calendar window; missing months are disclosed per row. Stored area rollups have no published end date and retain their own basis. No monthly point is ranked.
• No monthly point is ranked: a postcode district records a handful of sales a month, and a month-on-month change there is noise.
• Each row shows its own evidence date; an unpublished date is not inferred from another series.
