Is it one balance across the API, the MCP server and the app?

Yes. Credits sit on your MarketCode account. A call from ChatGPT over MCP, a call from your own code over REST and a screen in a product all debit the same ledger at the same published price.

No. Purchased credits have no expiry and there is no monthly minimum.

How is the free allowance granted?

100 free credits when you sign up. It is granted on your first sign-in, whether that is through an AI assistant over MCP or through the Hub.

What happens when a call fails?

It is not charged, with two exceptions: query_semantic and query_sql are charged when the warehouse did the work and the query itself was legal. A rejected query is free.

Are the products priced separately?

Not at launch. A product is a screen over the same metered tools, so you pay for the calls it makes and nothing for the screen. If usage shows a seat or team price fits better, it will be published here first.

Can I redistribute the data?

Paying credits for a call does not grant redistribution rights. Address and ownership records carry licences from Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry; talk to us before republishing them.
